Here’s where you can still get cheap nappies on Black Friday sales - Business Insider South Africa

• You can still get up to 40% discounts on leading nappy brands, Pampers and Huggies this Black Friday.
• Some deals are expiring tonight, but others will ran as long as to 1 December.
• We found that retailers such as Clicks offer better prices for individual packs, while the likes of Baby City and Game offer good deals on mega boxes.

Retailers are going head-to-head again this Black Friday on who can offer the best nappy discount, with close to 40%-off-deals in some cases.

Most of the retailers we looked at offer a discount in the leading Pampers and Huggies range, but Clicks and Game offer irresistible prices on second-tier brands.

Other retailers we looked at include Takealot, Baby City, and Checkers. These retailers offer discounts on taped nappies, pants and jumbo packs, mega boxes, and super mega boxes.

Here's where we found the most promising remaining discounted nappies this Black Friday. 

Clicks

Clicks has dropped prices for most of its Pampers premium offerings and Pampers Jumbo packs to under R190, offering much better than regular deals.

The retailer's Premium Care Disposable Nappies or Pants Value Pack are each going from R189.99, saving you between R99.99 and R109 per pack. The offer runs until 1 December 2022.

Active Baby Pants and Baby-Dry Disposable Nappies Jumbo Pack have also been reduced to R189.99, saving you R99 per pack until 1 December 2022.

For Huggies Extra Care Disposable Nappies, from sizes 1 to 5, you will pay R209.99, saving about R70 until 27 December 2023.

Baby City

Black Friday deals at Baby City are running from to Sunday. The baby essentials retailer, now under Dis-Chem, is offering discounts on Huggies and Pampers box deals.

A mega box of Pampers premium care banded 2-Pack nappies, sizes 1 – 2 and Mega Box premium Care Nappies Sizes 3 – 5 cost R349.95, saving R100.

In the pants range, the retailer is offering Mega Box Active Baby Pants Sizes 3 – 6 for R349.99, saving you R110.

A mega box of banded 2-Pack Active Baby Nappies Sizes 1 – 2 and Active Baby Nappies Sizes 3 – 5, will cost R349.95, saving you R120.

In the Huggies brand, the retailer is offering a mega box of Huggies Gold pants sizes 3-6 for R329.99 and a two-pack of banded Gold Nappies Sizes 3 – 5, plus free wipes, for R369.95. This will save you R100.

Game

At Game, you can get Pampers Active Baby Pants Super Box Size 5 and 6 for R599, as opposed to the original price of R820.That is available until 29 November.

Pampers Active Baby Super Box from sizes 3 to 4+ will also cost R599, down from the original price of R820, also until 29 November 2022.

In the Huggies brand, a pack of Huggies Gold Jumbo Size 4+ 62s will cost R179, saving R56 for today only.

Takealot

In the Pampers range, Takealot is offering discounts between 15% and over 35%. One if its daily deals is offering Pampers Pants - Size 6, Mega Savings Box-96 Nappies for R319, compared to the original price of R499.

Another daily deal offers Pampers Baby Dry - Size 3, Mega Savings Box-150 Nappies for R329 from R529.

Checkers

At Checkers, you save up to almost 40% on two jumbo packs of Huggies Gold disposable nappies or pants, going for R299.
